Expedition #3
Summer 2024 Theme: I AM
The “I AM” curriculum focuses on the plan God has for each one of us. Through Old Testament stories about Moses, the kids will be able to learn and understand so much about what God has planned for them.
Each Day will highlight a portion of this theme:
- I AM CREATED FOR A REASON
- I AM IN NEED OF A SAVIOR
- I AM LOVED BY GOD
- I AM GIFTED WITH A PURPOSE
- I AM ON A MISSION
A Typical Day at Faith Quest might look something like this:
- 8:30 am Check-in/Arrival
- 9:00 am Worship session 1 – songs, dances, videos, skits
- 9:45 am: Morning Snack
- 10:00 am: Morning activities rotations
(Crafts, huddle ups (minigames), Bible lesson, storytime) - 12:00 pm: Lunchtime!
- 12:45 pm: All-camp game
- 1:00 pm: Adventure activities
(Rock climbing, canoes/kayaks, swimming, inflatables, mini-golf, and many more) - 3:00 pm: Afternoon snack
- 3:15 pm: All-camp bible lesson
- 3:45 pm: Worship Session 2
- 4:30 pm: Check out
What does a Faith Quest camper need to bring with them?
- Bible – we’ll be using these quite a bit! (We also provide Bibles for campers who don’t have access to one)
- Water Bottle
- Close-toed shoes for climbing activities (flip flops and sandals work for waterfront)
- Bathing suits & towels for water activities (these will be scheduled ahead of time so everyone is prepared)
- Backpack
- Optional: Sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, etc.
